Assign processing profiles¶
Use profiles to set different caller lookups and delivery rules for different Agents. For example, support and sales can receive different summaries. Manage profiles under Pre Processing and Post Processing.
Choose the scope¶
| Scope | Effect |
|---|---|
| All / default | Fallback for workflows without a specific assignment |
| Selected Agents or Flows | Applies to calls handled by the selected Agents or Flows |
| Unassigned | Keeps a profile available without assigning it to calls |
A directly assigned profile takes priority over the default. Set up pre-processing and post-processing assignments separately. For calls through a Flow, select the Flow itself rather than one of its Agents.
Create a profile¶
- Add a descriptive name, such as
Support caller lookuporSales handoff. - Choose the intended scope and Agents or Flows.
- Configure the lookup or summary and delivery.
- Save and test a new call through each assigned entry point.
Each Agent or Flow can have one specific profile for each processing type. If an assignment already exists, Nuvoca shows the previous profile. Confirm the transfer to move the assignment to the new profile.
Understand default behavior¶
For pre-processing, choosing All makes that profile the default and removes the previous profile's default scope. A selected profile with no remaining assignments becomes unassigned.
Post-processing retains a protected default profile with All scope. It cannot be deleted or changed to selected scope. Additional profiles can have selected assignments or remain unassigned.
You can add a separate summary prompt to each post-processing profile. Leave it empty to use the default summary configuration.
Change or remove an assignment¶
Removing an assignment may make the default profile apply again. Check its lookup and recipients, then make a new test call.
