Replace or delete Agents and connections¶
Before removing an Agent, Flow or Knowledge Base, review where it is used. Update connected phone numbers, Agents and tools to use the replacement first.
Replace a connected resource¶
- Create or configure the replacement.
- Test its prompt, tools, knowledge and voice with a test route.
- Update references shown by the product, such as number routes, Flow mappings or Agent knowledge settings.
- Check assigned processing profiles.
- Test a fresh call through the intended entry point.
- Delete the old resource only after reviewing the confirmation and dependency details.
Resolve a blocked deletion¶
| Resource | What to check |
|---|---|
| Agent | Flow mappings and other references listed in the deletion dialog |
| Agentic Flow | Entry routes and other displayed dependencies |
| Knowledge Base | Agents that still select it and contained documents |
| Document | Whether removing its content leaves important questions unanswered |
| OAuth configuration | Usage by tools, MCP connections or processing. Remove references first. |
If Nuvoca blocks deletion, open the listed usages and remove or replace the connection. Then try deleting again.
Verify after a change¶
Place a new test call, ask a known question and exercise one action. Check routing, the retrieved answer and delivery. For number removal, see return a number. Returning a number removes its routes.
